1. Current scope
The current Hyfens frontend is designed to use the minimum browser storage needed for site preferences, authentication/session operation, security protections, and requested Cloud functionality. The theme preference is stored locally so the site can remember light or dark mode. Authentication and third-party checkout components may use additional technical storage under their own service boundary.
2. Categories
Non-essential analytics, advertising, behavioral profiling, and marketing cookies are not part of the current public frontend contract. If they are introduced, Hyfens must update this policy, the Privacy Policy, the Subprocessors page, and any consent mechanism required by the applicable jurisdiction before enabling them.
- Essential operation: authentication, session continuity, security, routing, form protection, and service availability.
- Preferences: display or accessibility choices such as the selected theme.
- Measurement and diagnostics: only where a documented service or operational tool is enabled, with collection limited to the stated purpose.
- Third-party service technology: payment or embedded service components may set or read technologies subject to the provider’s own notice and terms.
3. Choices
You can manage browser storage through browser settings. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in, form submission, security checks, or Cloud features from working. Deleting storage may sign you out or remove local preferences, but it does not delete a Cloud account or server-side data.
